It was early 2022, when a team of engineers were struggling to reach out a customer friendly solution for one of a biggest steel plant of India. There were adequate resources like spare parts, skilled manpower and a huge management of great knowledge base. But crisis of shop floor could not be arrested. There was a significant gap between engineering drawing, manufactured product & actual machine behaviour. Plant Operation & maintenance team were facing a terrific trouble to run the unit, which was supplied & commissioned by a foreign manufacturer. The threat was turned into an opportunity by resolving the crisis in a measure method.

MVP, Research & Team Building

Technical interpreter: Due to language factor, conveying the actual technical problem to OEM was the 1st hurdle. So appointing an interpreter & developing him to address both mechanical & electrical issue was the 1st stage of execution.

As-Commissioned Drawing: Post commissioning production stage re-generation certain specific Electrical & Automation Interface drawings was next challenge.

Component location: Different standard of drawing & practice, establishing connectivity between GA & BOM by indicating exact location of any device, fitted into main equipment was another hurdle, which our team had resolved at site too.
